Welcome!

The Marine Aquarist Roundtable of Sacramento (or MARS) would like to welcome you to our club’s website. If you are new here, there are a few things that we would like to let you know about MARS and what we have to offer.

MARS is a Sacramento, California based regional club where the knowledge and materials required to keep marine animals are enthusiastically shared.

Hi everyone. I need some help. I have a reef 120 gal. 48x18x24depth. I need a good light for my corals that is under 500.00. Also I see e27 bulbs on ebay are those strong enough? is par better than spectrum at this depth? Its my first tank, please be patient. I've been working at it over a year and my frags are doing well with my orbit but anemones are dying and We just got sick with ick and now have to get a quarantine tank. We are dosing every three days for the next three weeks. Raising the temp to 82 I lost a couple angels, very sad. I need a 16 or 15 gal.for the quarantine tank. I am learning the hard and expensive way about saltwater tanks. Thank you for all your advice and comments.I will try to make the next meeting.Thank you. Have a great day.
